In November 2018, I joined the Space for Art Foundation on our World Hospital Art Tour — a creative and humanitarian journey that took us from Moscow to London, Paris, and Cologne between November 8th and 15th.Our traveling team — Nicole Stott, Ian Cion, and myself — represented the Space for Art Foundation, bringing our Earthrise Project and Exploration Spacesuit Project to children’s hospitals across Europe. We were joined by UNITY Movement co-founder Alena Kuzmenko from Russia, whose “Dreamer Suit” initiative united our missions under one extraordinary vision: to connect art, healing, and space exploration — and to one day carry children’s artwork to space. Together, we traveled with our toolbox of paintbrushes and purpose — guided by the belief that art is a universal language of hope. In every hospital we visited, we met children whose courage transcended illness, whose imaginations stretched farther than any rocket, and whose creativity became a bridge between Earth and the stars.
