Epilogue — A Constellation of Hope

When I look back on those ten days — from the grand scale of Moscow to the tender spirit of London, to the awakening of Paris, and the quiet grace of Cologne — I see them now as a constellation.
Each city, each child, each brushstroke was a point of light, and together they formed something greater than all of us: a map of healing drawn in color, courage, and connection.
Through the Space for Art Foundation, our mission was to bring art into hospitals — but what I discovered is that the children brought art back into us. They reminded me that creativity is not a privilege; it’s a lifeline. It’s how we remember who we are, where we come from, and how deeply we are connected to one another. I can still see their faces — the smiles, their frowns, the moments of quiet courage.
I can still hear that little girl’s humming, soft and steady, like a thread of light stretching between heaven and Earth. Art, I’ve learned, is not only something we make — it’s something we become when we let love move through us. These children — our little artonauts of hope — showed me that even the smallest brushstroke, the thinnest pencil line can travel farther than we ever imagined. And somewhere, orbiting high above us, their dreams continue to circle the Earth, reminding us that healing, like art, has no limits.
